JDT Racing Team delivered a strong opening statement in Round 6 of the 2025 FIM Asia Road Racing Championship (ARRC), with both riders recording competitive pace in the ASB1000 Free Practice sessions at the Chang International Circuit today.
Malaysia’s MotoGP and ARRC star Hafizh Syahrin produced a standout performance, finishing the day third overall (P3) after three combined sessions. The Johor-born rider clocked a blistering 1:35.636s, marking one of his sharpest runs this season and signalling a clear intention to fight at the front.
Teammate Ryo Mizuno also showed strong consistency, placing tenth overall (P10) with a best time of 1:38.507s. The Japanese rider steadily improved session by session, closing the gap to the leading group as track conditions evolved.
The duo’s solid and consistent pace underscores their readiness to challenge for top spots as the championship enters a decisive stage.
Tomorrow’s schedule features the crucial Qualifying session followed by Race 1, where JDT Racing will look to convert their promising practice form into a strong points haul — and potentially a podium finish.
