Hafizh Syahrin from JDT Racing Team secured 3rd place in the ASB1000 practice round at the FIM Asia Road Racing Championship 2024, Round 6, at Chang International Circuit, Buriram.
Hafizh placed 8th in the combined results across three practice sessions, recording an average lap time of 1:36.094 seconds. His performance puts him just 0.662 seconds behind Nakarin Atiratphuvapat, the top rider of the day from Honda Asia-Dream Racing with Astemo.
Hafizh Syahrin remains a key contender for the ASB1000 crown. With his consistent performance throughout the season and strong showing in practice, he is well-positioned to challenge for a top finish at the Chang International Circuit, a track known for its technical complexity and high-speed corners.
The battle intensifies tomorrow, 7 December, with the qualifying round scheduled in the morning and the first race session in the afternoon. Hafizh will aim to leverage his practice momentum to secure a strong grid position and a podium finish in the championship-deciding weekend.
