Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has officially confirmed the rescheduling of the AFC Champions League Two 2024/25 Group F match between Port FC and Lion City Sailors. Originally set to take place at the Pathum Thani Stadium in Thailand.
The fixture was postponed due to adverse weather conditions that raised safety concerns for both players and spectators.
The AFC, in collaboration with local authorities and both clubs, determined that the match could not proceed under the dangerous weather conditions, prioritizing the safety of everyone involved.
The rescheduled match is now set to take place at the same venue on Wednesday, October 30, with kickoff scheduled for 8:00 PM Malaysian time.
This adjustment ensures that both teams will still have the opportunity to compete under safe conditions as part of their Group F campaign in the AFC Champions League Two, a tournament that promises intense competition and high stakes for clubs across Asia.
