Johor Darul Ta’Zim earned 3 points and continued to dominate after beating Selangor FC scoring 3-0 in the Liga Super Malaysia 2024/25 at MBPJ Stadium, Petaling Jaya.
Selangor, playing without several key players, opened with intensity and created an early chance in the third minute when Ali Olwan’s shot forced a save from JDT goalkeeper Ahmad Syihan Hazmi Mohamed.
However, JDT quickly took control, applying relentless pressure until Romel Morales found the net in the 30th minute with a precise header from Juan Muniz’s free kick.
As the first half neared its end, JDT doubled their advantage through Bergson Da Silva, who capitalized on a well-placed cross from Arif Aiman Hanapi.
Just nine minutes into the second half, JDT sealed their win when Da Silva converted a penalty after Arif Aiman was brought down by Selangor’s Mohammad Abualnadi.
Despite both sides creating additional chances, neither team could alter the scoreline, and JDT comfortably claimed all three points with a 3-0 triumph. This result solidifies JDT’s position at the top of the league as they push toward another Liga Super title.
