Chonburi FC, a Thai League 1 team, has launched Willian Lira, a Brazilian striker age,29 from Kedah Darul Aman in the Liag Super Malaysia to join the season 2023/24.
Lira has experience playing in Asia with Ventforet Kofu in J2 League Japan in 2021 before letting the team win the Emperor’s Cup in 2022. And edge quota to participate in the AFC Champions League for the first time in club history.
And in 2023, Lira moved to play in the Liga Super Malaysia with Kedah Darul Aman in the season 2023 and performed excellently by record 14 matches played, scoring 8 goals, but had to part ways after the first leg.
Lira is the fourth foreign player Chonburi FC has brought in the first transfer windows for the 2023/24 season, following Lee Chan-dong, Patrick Deyto, and Aung Kaung Mann.
