Syaqiera Mashayikh, women’s archer ended at round 1/16 Elimination in the Women’s Individual event in Archery of Olympic 2024 at Le Invalides, Paris.
Syaqiera began her campaign with an impressive 6-0 victory over Alexandra Mirca from Moldova in the 1/32 elimination round.
However, she faced a narrow defeat in the 1/16 elimination round, losing 6-5 to Ana Luiza Sliachticas Caetano from Brazil after ending 5 sets with draw results 5-5 before losing in a single shoot-off 8-9 thus concluding her competition in Paris under the intense heat.
Her teammates, Ariana Nur Dania Mohamad Zairi and Nurul Azreena Mohd Fazil will compete tomorrow in the 1/32 elimination round.
