Johor made beautiful starting after beating Terengganu, defending champions scoring 1-0 in the Men’s Football Group B of Sukan Malaysia (SUKMA) 2024 at Zaidi Adruce Stadium, Sibu.
The win came courtesy of Aysar Hadi, who played the hero by scoring the decisive goal in the 61st minute, giving Johor, represented by the JDT III squad, the perfect start to their campaign.
This victory sets Johor up well as they prepare to face Sabah in their final group match this Wednesday.
