Shinji Kagawa, ex-midfielder Japan’s national team, moves back to play in J.League again with Cerezo Osaka in season 2023 after 13 years of playing in Europe.
Cerezo Osaka is the first team of Kagawa in his career in 17-years-old at 2006 before moving to play in Europe first time with Borussia Dortmund in 2010 and move to play with Manchester United in 2012 and back to Borussia Dortmund again in 2014 before moving to play with more teams in Europe namely Besiktas, Real Zaragoza, PAOK, and Sint Truiden.
In addition, Kagawa has honours in Europe such as 2x Champions Bundesliga (2010/11,2011/12), 2x Champions DFB Pokal (2011/12,2016/17), 1x Champions Premier League (2012/13), and 1x Champions FA Community Shield (2013)
Kagawa has made a record played 125 matches and 55 goals with Cerezo Osaka during 2006-2010.
