Trackhouse Racing has secured one of the MotoGP paddock’s most sought-after signatures after confirming that Raul Fernandez will remain with the SuperFile Trackhouse MotoGP Team through the 2027 and 2028 seasons, ensuring continuity as the championship enters its all-new technical era.
The announcement marks a major statement of intent from the American outfit, which continues to establish itself as one of MotoGP’s fastest-rising teams after a remarkable progression since joining the premier class in 2024.
Fernandez has been part of the Trackhouse project from day one, arriving before the team’s debut 2024 campaign and playing a pivotal role in its rapid rise.
The Spaniard etched his name into Trackhouse history throughout the 2025 season, claiming Sprint podiums at Mandalika and Phillip Island before delivering the team’s breakthrough moment with its first-ever MotoGP Grand Prix victory at the Australian Grand Prix.
He concluded that campaign in impressive fashion with a runner-up finish at the Valencia Grand Prix, signalling Trackhouse’s emergence as a genuine contender.
His momentum has only continued in 2026. Fernandez has already collected three Grand Prix podiums this season while adding three Sprint podiums, including victories at Mugello and Assen. The Dutch TT proved especially memorable, with Trackhouse celebrating a historic weekend by winning both the Sprint Race and the Grand Prix.
The two-year contract extension provides stability for both rider and team as MotoGP prepares to introduce sweeping technical regulation changes in 2027, ushering in a new generation of machinery that is expected to reshape the competitive landscape.
With Fernandez confirmed as the cornerstone of the project, Trackhouse can now focus on building a championship challenge for the new era.
The identity of Fernandez’s teammate, however, remains undecided, leaving one of the most attractive seats on the MotoGP grid still available.
Trackhouse Entertainment Group owner Justin Marks believes Fernandez has matured into the ideal rider to lead the team’s long-term ambitions.

Marks praised the Spaniard’s commitment since joining the project.
