Malaysian mixed doubles, Chen Tang Jie-Toh Ee Wei ended way in the round of 16 after losing to Korean Republic pair, Kim Won-Ho/Jeong Na-Eun in the mixed doubles event of badminton at the Olympics 2024 held at Porte de La Chapelle Arena, Paris.
Ranked ninth in the world, the Malaysian duo struggled against the world number eight pair, ultimately falling 19-21, 14-21 in 43 minutes.

However, an injury to Ee Wei at 9-11 disrupted their rhythm, leading to a narrow 19-21 defeat in the first set. Despite their efforts to recover in the second set, they fell behind 1-10 early on and could not regain momentum.
The Korean pair maintained relentless pressure, securing a 21-14 win to end the match.
Despite the loss, Chen Tang Jie and Toh Ee Wei can be proud of their performance, making it to the quarter-finals in their first Olympic appearance.
