Earlier, from the preliminary squad of 30 players selected for the centralised training camp, Syahmi Safari of Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) had sought an exemption following the birth of his triplets and he was replaced by Negeri Sembilan FC defender, Ahmad Khuzaimie Piee who was earlier on the standby list. PJ City forward, Darren Lok, turned up on March 14 but had to be dropped as both his RTK and PCR tests came out positive for COVID-19. He was replaced by Kuala Lumpur City FC’s Zhafri Yahya.
