Malaysia U23 national team has announced a squad list of 25 players for participate in AFC U23 Asian Cup 2023 Qualifiers Group H at Chonburi, Thailand.
From the list of 25 players, E. Elavarasan, head coach, has retained 14 of the 23 players in the AFF U23 Championship 2023 squad in Rayong, Thailand, including some new faces such as Hariz Mansor, M. Rakesh, Saiful Jamaluddin and the tournament’s top scorer, Alif Ikmalrizal Anuar.

Of the 25 players, only 23 players will be on the final list when the Malaysia U23 national team squad leaves for Thailand on September 4.
For the Group H competition in the AFC U23 Asian Cup 2024 Qualifiers, Malaysia will face Bangladesh on Wednesday, September 6, 2023, the Philippines on Saturday, September 9, 2023 and the host, Thailand on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, with all three matches taking place at Chonburi Stadium.
Next, 16 teams consisting of the 11 group champion teams in the qualifying competition (Groups A to K), together with the four best second-place teams and the host, Qatar, will be eligible to play in the AFC U23 Asian Cup 2024, which will take place in Qatar.
