Lion City Sailors are thrilled to announce that preparations are in full swing to transform Bishan Stadium into a 10,000-seat venue ahead of the highly anticipated AFC Champions League Two 2024/25 Final against Sharjah FC of the United Arab Emirates, scheduled for Saturday, 18 May 2025, at 8:00PM SGT.

This historic occasion marks a monumental moment not only for the Sailors but also for Singapore football, as the club becomes the first local side to reach the final of a major Asian club competition. The match will be played on home soil following provisional approval from the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) earlier in April.

“This final is not just a milestone for the Sailors — it’s a celebration of Singapore football,” said Sailors Chairman Forrest Li. “We can’t wait to see the stands packed and the nation rallying behind the team.”

In close collaboration with Sport Singapore, the Football Association of Singapore (FAS), and key industry partners, the Sailors are working to ensure Bishan Stadium is fully equipped to deliver a continental final of the highest standard.

The enhancements include increased seating capacity, improved facilities, and the introduction of dynamic fan zones to deliver a truly immersive matchday experience. Fans can look forward to mobile food trucks, carnival-style games, photo booths, and more — all designed to ignite the atmosphere and create memories beyond the final whistle.

Tickets for the final will go on sale starting Tuesday, 6 May at 12:00PM SGT through the Sailors’ official ticketing partner, SISTIC.

The stadium will be divided into four key fan zones: West (Main Stand), East Stand, North and South Stands (behind the goals)

Supporters of Sharjah FC will have a separate allocation of tickets, managed directly by the visiting club.

Fans who are members of The Deck, the Sailors’ official membership programme, will enjoy a 50% discount on up to six tickets per transaction — a special gesture of appreciation for their loyalty. Membership details and sign-up options are available at lioncitysailorsfc.sg/memberships.

We are excited to announce that preparation works are underway at Bishan Stadium to accommodate up to 10,000 fans for the upcoming Asian Football Confederation Champions League (ACL) Two final against the United Arab Emirates’ Sharjah FC on 18 May. pic.twitter.com/zf7TZUA95D
