Stanley Bernard, CEO of Kuala Lumpur City explained that the smoothness of his team’s matches at the KLFA, Stadium Cheras will be emphasized.
KLFA Stadium, Cheras is home of 2 teams in Liga Super Malaysia in season 2023 namely Kuala Lumpur City and PDRM FC. But this is not a new thing. Because PDRM FC use this stadium to be a home stadium since 2020.
That leads to the need for Stanley to reassess the schedule of KL City and PDRM FC that will be announced by the manager of the domestic competition, the Malaysian Football League (MFL) this season.
“The important thing is the scheduling.” Bernard, CEO KL City said.
“Perhaps the MFL is faced with a more difficult task considering that there is a rest period for the use of a field.”
“Even in the AFC Cup, the MFL always examines various factors such as the break time to enable us to compete to fly the Malaysian flag.”
“There seems to be no problem but it can only be seen once the full schedule is released by the MFL,”
In the first match, Kuala Lumpur City will face Penang FC at KLFA Stadium, Cheras on 25 February and PDRM FC will face Sabah FC at Likas Stadium, Kota Kinabalu on the same day.
