Yokohama F. Marinos, the 2022 J.League champion, successfully won the first title this year. After defeating Ventforet Kofu, a team from J2, Emperor’s Cup 2022 champion with a score of 2-1 in the Fujifilm Super Cup 2023 at the National Olympic Stadium, Tokyo.

In injury time at the end of the game, in the 90+4 minute, Kofu almost scored an equalizer from the moment Eduardo Mancha shot in, but the assistant referee raised the flag for offside.

After that, there was no more moment. At the end of the game, Yokohama F. Marinos won 2-1, winning this title for the first time.
