Ahmad Muzakkir Hamid, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Kelantan FC, said apologises to fans after creating the worst record of conceding over 100 goals in 23 matches of Liga Super Malaysia this season.
After match loss to Sabah FC 0-7 last night saw Kelantan FC now conceding 102 goals and becoming the most conceded team and first team in the history of the Liga Super Malaysia to have over 100 goals conceded for a season.
“First, I apologize for defeat after defeat until I was badly beaten. I understand that everything is a matter of dignity.” CEO TRW said.
“I have stated from the beginning that if we cannot register (new) players, we will accept that fate when we bring young players to play. Our young players have done their best, but they just lack experience.
“On the question of unpaid wages, …I met some players yesterday and explained, and they even accepted the explanation. No company or owner wants to delay wages if they don’t suffer losses,”
In addition, Ahmad Muzakkir explained that Kelantan FC will try to solve the financial problems facing the team.
“Thank you to those who came to the stadium yesterday, the average already knew we would be beaten but they came as support. Thanks also to the players, management and coaches, they committed and focused 100 percent on their work.
“Obviously the owner is 100 percent trying to solve this problem, and I as the CEO 100 percent trying to bring back the sponsor,”
However, Kelantan FC still have three remaining matches against Kedah Darul Aman, PDRM FC and Kelantan United, where the number of conceded points is expected to continue to increase.
