The new uniform, “Adidas Japan National Soccer Team 2022 uniform” for FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar has been completed.
The uniform concept this time is ORIGAMI. Combining the trajectory of Japan’s national soccer team so far with ORIGAMI, which evolves by overlapping “mountain folds, valley folds”, it is expressed as a symbol of prayer that brings joy.
The color of the home uniform is based on “Japan Blue”, and ORIGAMI’s graphic design is applied. In addition, at the same time as “carrying the country on your back,” the Japanese flag is placed above the back with the message that “supporters’ support pushes your back.” It also has a red panel on the inner part of the neck. This is inspired by the uniform worn by the SAMURAI BLUE (Japan national team) when they became Asian champions at the AFC Asian Cup 2011 Qatar held in 2011, and it will be a moment of joy in Qatar again. The away uniform will have a design based on black and white. Similar to the home uniform, graphics developed with the concept of ORIGAMI are used as points. An anaglyph image that looks three-dimensional by overlapping blue and red is used, and it is designed so that ORIGAMI can be seen overlapping many layers. The number kit will be black.
