Leading badminton brand VICTOR and the Badminton Association of Thailand (BAT) have officially announced a landmark four-year partnership running from 2026 until 2030, strengthening Thailand’s ambitions to remain one of the world’s badminton powerhouses.
Under the agreement, VICTOR will become the official sponsor of BAT and the Thailand national badminton team, while also serving as the official equipment sponsor for major domestic and international tournaments hosted by Thailand.
The collaboration includes premier events such as the Thailand Open and the Thailand Masters, reinforcing Thailand’s growing influence within the global badminton scene.
Through the partnership, VICTOR will provide advanced technology, professional-grade equipment, and technical support aimed at improving tournament standards and enhancing athlete performance at every level.
The agreement highlights VICTOR’s long-term commitment to developing badminton in Thailand, a country that has rapidly emerged as one of Asia’s strongest badminton nations in recent years.
BAT president Monthon Satchukorn described the partnership as a major step forward for Thai badminton.
“This partnership with VICTOR marks an important milestone in advancing Thai badminton onto the global stage,” he said.
“By aligning our long-term development strategy with VICTOR’s world-class innovation and expertise, we aim to raise new benchmarks for performance, professionalism, and competitive excellence.
“We believe this collaboration will not only equip Thai athletes to compete at the highest levels internationally but also further strengthen Thailand’s position as a global leader in badminton.”
Meanwhile, VICTOR chairman Jeff Chen expressed excitement over working closely with Thailand’s badminton ecosystem.
“It is a great honor to partner with BAT. Thailand has become one of the most dynamic forces in badminton, and we look forward to working together to elevate both tournaments and the national team to new heights,” said Chen.
The partnership officially began on May 1, with the Thailand Open becoming the first major event staged under the new collaboration. VICTOR will act as both the presenting sponsor and official equipment supplier for the tournament.
In another significant development, BAT also reaffirmed its support for the advancement of synthetic shuttlecock technology following recent approval from the Badminton World Federation (BWF) for Grade 3 tournaments and youth competitions.
The Phuket International Challenge 2026, scheduled from June 9-14, will become the first international professional tournament to use the NCS MAX synthetic shuttlecock as its official shuttlecock — a move regarded as a major milestone for badminton innovation and sustainability.
With Thailand continuing to produce elite stars and host world-class tournaments, the new BAT-VICTOR partnership is expected to play a vital role in elevating both the national team and the country’s badminton infrastructure over the next four years.
