Malaysian men’s doubles pair Aaron Tai and Kang Khai Xing have advanced to the Round of 16 in the PRINCESS SIRIVANNAVARI Thailand Masters 2025, held at the Nimibutr Stadium, Bangkok.
Tai and Kang showcased a commanding performance to defeat Thailand’s duo, Pongsakorn Thongkham and Wongsathorn Thongkham, in straight sets.
The Malaysians secured the victory with a scoreline of 21-18, 21-16 in just 31 minutes.
The win marked another impressive step in their campaign, as they demonstrated sharp coordination and resilience throughout the match.
In the Round of 16, Tai and Kang will face a formidable challenge as they go up against Indonesia’s Muhammad Shohibul Fikri and Daniel Marthin on January 30.
