Sri Pahang FC players received a timely boost ahead of the Unifi Malaysia Cup final as the club fully settled all outstanding salary arrears in conjunction with the Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration.
Team manager Dato’ Dollah Salleh confirmed the news in an interview with Astro Arena journalist Zulhelmi Zainal Azam, emphasizing that the club’s commitment, as promised by YAM Tengku Muda (Tengku Abdul Rahman), had been fulfilled.
“What Tengku Muda said about clearing all salary arrears has been proven. Sri Pahang no longer has any salary issues, Alhamdulillah. Now, the players must prove themselves in every match,” Dollah stated.
This financial resolution is expected to provide a massive morale boost for the Tok Gajah squad as they push through the remainder of the Super League season. More importantly, it strengthens their focus and motivation ahead of a highly anticipated showdown against Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) in the Malaysia Cup final on April 26.
With confidence restored and financial concerns lifted, Sri Pahang FC now has its sights set on making history against the reigning champions.
