Selangor FC delivered a statement performance on home soil as they defeated Vietnam’s Cong An Hanoi 2-0 in Matchday 4 of the Shopee Cup 2025/26 Group Stage, Group A at MBPJ Stadium, Petaling Jaya.
The Red Giants were inspired by captain Faisal Halim, whose second-half brace ensured three vital points at the MBPJ Stadium, keeping Selangor’s momentum strong in the group stage.
Selangor manager entrusted Kalamullah Al-Hafiz with goalkeeping duties, while Faisal led the side as captain and Brazilian forward Chrigor Moraes spearheaded the attack.

Both sides played with intensity, but clear-cut chances were limited.
Chrigor came close in the 33rd minute with a powerful strike, only to be denied by an excellent save from Nguyen Filip.
At the other end, Kalamullah produced a key stop late in the first half to preserve Selangor’s clean sheet.
