Saudi Arabia Football Federation(SAFF) has appointed Roberto Mancini, Italian coach age,58 to be a new head coach of Saudi Arabia national team until 2027, and the signing and presentation ceremonies took place in the Riyadh yesterday.

Mancini will lead the Green Falcons, starting from the next preparatory camp that will be held in Newcastle, England, during the FIFA Day calendar of next September, as part of the second phase of the preparatory program in preparation for the AFC Asian Cup 2023, which will be held in the Qatar in January 2024.
Saudi Arabia will play two friendly matches during its camp from September 3 to September 12, the first against Costa Rica on the 8 September, and the second friendly will be against the Korea Republic national team on the 12 September, and both friendly matches will be played at St. James Park Stadium, Newcastle.
