Ridzuan Abu Shah, head coach of Malaysian University FT praised the performance of the young players who were sent down for giving resistance to the hosts. and thanks to Johor Darul Ta’Zim, opponent for valuable experience.
Malaysian University FT is the only one team from Liga A1 Semi-pro in the quarter-final round of the Piala FA Malaysia 2024/25 after they win PDRM FC 3-0 in round of 16.
“This is an experience that they need to take every inch or every minute of playing with a team that is better than us,” Ridzuan said after the match with Astro Arena.
“The number one club in Malaysia which is JDT which we know has imports of caliber and we still stand by the decision (to feature) local players for development at the Ministry of Higher Education and universities.”
“We don’t care what people think, we know our path is to develop players who choose the path to study and play football,”
“As a coach, I carry out the task for us to develop as many players or pearls in the university for us to highlight.”
