Buriram United have officially secured the signing of Austrian left-back Rene Renner ahead of the AFC Champions League Elite 2024/25 Finals Stage, set to commence in late April.
Renner, a seasoned defender from LASK Linz, brings a wealth of experience from Austria’s top-tier league, where he has consistently competed at the highest level, including in the UEFA Europa League. Known for his versatility, the left-footed defender can also operate as a center-back, adding valuable depth to Buriram United’s defensive options.
The 30-year-old will make his highly anticipated debut in Buriram United’s crucial AFC Champions League Elite quarter-final clash against Saudi Arabian giants Al Ahly on April 26, 2025.
