ZK Racing manager Zulfahmi Khairuddin has set his sights firmly on a podium finish—or even a race victory—for Malaysian rising star Hakim Danish ahead of Sunday's Moto3 PETRONAS Grand Prix of Malaysia.

Following Hakim's impressive P3 qualification, Zulfahmi praised the youngster's ability to battle among the elite. "He is not just in the pack; he is up there with top riders and world champions. It was a rushed session, but thankfully, Danish managed to execute the perfect lap," Zulfahmi stated.

Drawing parallels to his own historic front-row start and podium finish at Sepang in 2012, Zulfahmi noted that Hakim is operating in a much stronger ecosystem today. He credited the robust backing from sponsors like Aeon, SIC, and KPS, alongside the ZK Racing team structure, for easing the pressure on the young rider.

"It is different compared to my era because Danish has full support surrounding him," Zulfahmi explained. "All this backing gives us the ultimate confidence to compete. This is the time and the place to show our true potential. Ready or not, we have to fight tomorrow."

With strong morning pace backing up the qualifying result, the team's ambitions are sky-high for race day. "Honestly, I have massive hopes. A podium or a win, why not? That is our real target this week, and I hope all the fans will come down to Sepang to support him," Zulfahmi urged.

Zulfahmi also highlighted another bright spark in the ZK Racing stable, Qabil, who secured a brilliant P2 start in his respective support category following a recent return from injury.

"It is a great comeback for Qabil. He topped Practice 1 yesterday and took P2 today. I am not worried about him because he is a very talented rider with natural speed. It is all about managing the last two laps in that pack, and God willing, we will catch another podium," Zulfahmi concluded confidently.
