A groundbreaking agreement is being finalized that will see Pirelli become the official and exclusive tyre supplier for the MotoGP, Moto2, and Moto3 categories from 2027 to 2031.
This marks a significant expansion for the Italian tyre manufacturer as it steps into the premier class of motorcycle racing.
The deal will coincide with a new era of MotoGP, introducing updated technical regulations and next-generation bikes in 2027. Pirelli’s presence across all classes will create a unified development ladder, allowing future champions to gain experience on a consistent tyre platform as they progress through the ranks.
Further details on tyre specifications and allocations will be announced soon.
Michelin, the current MotoGP and MotoE supplier, will continue its partnership until the end of the 2026 season, ensuring world-class performance, safety, and technological advancements.
Additionally, Michelin will maintain its commitment to MotoE through 2025 and 2026, focusing on sustainability innovations, with tyres made from a high percentage of renewable and recycled materials.
