Malaysian Football League (MFL) announced today that the Contribution Match for the Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Cup on Friday, 10 May 2024, at the Sultan Ibrahim Stadium had to be cancelled after Selangor FC decided not to attend the match.
Selangor FC’s decision was informed through an official letter sent to the MFL, thus witnessing that Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) will be given a ‘walkover’ victory with a score of 3-0 and get 3 points for the Liga Super Malaysia (LS1) match.
Other matters also regarding the withdrawal will be brought to the level of the MFL Board of Directors for further action.
