Palestine qualified for WCQ 2026 Asian Round 3 first time

Palestine national team made the history and qualified to the FIFA World Cup 2026 Asian Qualifiers Round 3 for the first time.

Palestine played matchday 5 of group G in the FIFA World Cup 2026 Asian Qualifiers Round 2 against Lebanon at Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium, Doha last night and ended tied 0-0.

Following results, Palestine has 10 points after 5 matches played, staying in 2nd place and leading Lebanon, 3rd place team with 5 points and has 1 remaining match, Palestine confirmed to qualified to the 3rd round.

Palestine has starting to play in FIFA World Cup qualifiers in 2002 after affiliated as full member with FIFA in 1998.
