Miroslav Kuljanac, head coach of Kuala Lumpur City demanded that the City Boys squad continue to maintain a positive record at home.
The perfect start achieved by KL City FC in the Shopee Cup 2024/25 must continue in their second Group B action against the Indonesian representative, Borneo FC Samarinda at the Kuala Lumpur Football Stadium, tomorrow night.
In fact, the operator from Croatia hopes that loyal supporters of the Warga Kota squad can flood the KLFA Stadium to give solid support to KL City FC, which also carries the country’s name in the Southeast Asian regional competition.
“We started the ACC campaign well so I hope we can continue that unbeaten record until the end of the game tomorrow night. I can only hope that the fans will come out to support us.
“We are in a difficult situation at the moment but the players do not want to give up and continue to fight. So I think the players deserve to continue to receive support,” he said at the pre-match press conference at the Kuala Lumpur Football Stadium, today.
At the same time, Kuljanac also insisted that his players were in high spirits and determined to give their best, especially after falling 0-1 at the hands of Perak FC in the last action of the Super League, last Saturday.
“The morale of the players is very high and we know this is a different game. We will face the best team in ASEAN.
“I have the best line-up of players and it doesn’t matter if they are among the main players or the reserve players who will be brought down, I know they will give their best because they are fighters,” said Kuljanac.
