Matthew Steenvoorden, Centre-Back Dutch age 31, joined Terengganu FC in the season 2024/25, after expired contract with Pakhtakor, a club in Uzbekistan.
Matthew is a player from Feyenoord Rotterdam, a big club in Eredivisie since youth academy until they turned to a professional level and moved to play for another team on a loan contract with Excelsior and Dordrecht. And move to Cambuur, Gorica and play in the Asia region with Pakhtakor in the first leg of the season 2023/24.
Steenvoorden is the 5th new player of Terengganu FC of the season 2024/25 following Akram Mahinan, Safawi Rasid, Akhyar Rashid, and Ismaheel Akinade.
