Terengganu FC earned 3 points in last match after beating Kedah Darul Aman scoring 3-0 in the Liga Super Malaysia 2024/25 at Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin, Gong Badak.
Backed by a strong home crowd, Terengganu fielded a formidable line-up that included key players Shahrul Nizam, Nurillo Tukhtasinov, Akram Mahinan, Engku Nur Shakir, Azam Azmi, Akhyar Rashid, and Syahmi Zamri—all of whom proved instrumental in the team’s dominant performance.
Kedah Darul Aman, determined to end their season with pride, responded with their own experienced side, including Milos Gordic, Wan Amirul, Aiman Afif, Ariff Farhan, and Amirul Hisyam Awang. However, the visitors struggled to match the intensity and precision of the Turtles on home turf.
The first half began with both sides trading attacks in a tight midfield battle. But it was Safawi Rasid who broke the deadlock just before the halftime whistle, latching onto a pinpoint assist from Engku Nur Shakir to give Terengganu the lead.
With momentum on their side, Terengganu continued to push forward in the second half. Their efforts paid off in the 74th minute when Ubaidullah Shamsul rose high to power home a header, doubling the home side’s advantage.
As Kedah scrambled for a late comeback, Nurillo Tukhtasinov put the result beyond doubt in stoppage time, calmly slotting home Terengganu’s third goal to seal a well-deserved victory.
The final whistle confirmed a 3-0 triumph for Terengganu FC, marking a strong finish to the season for the East Coast club.
With this result, Terengganu secured 5th place in the league standings with 35 points, while Kedah Darul Aman ended their campaign in 11th place on 21 points.
