The best opportunity for Tomislav Steinbruckner’s squad to break the deadlock came in the 25th minute through the long run of the new player, Nurillo Tukhtasinov, who was just a little shy to the right of the visitors’ goal.
Likewise, the captain’s swift breakthrough, Habib Haroon, in the 41st minute, was successfully pushed out by the goalkeeper, Sikh Izhan, while simultaneously watching both teams head to the delivery room in the first half of the first period with a 0-0

Finally, the goal the hosts were looking for came in the 66th minute after Norde’s header into the penalty box was headed by Ivan Mamut for Terengganu to lead 1-0.
In the 78th minute, Ivan Mamut had the chance to add to both his personal and squad’s goals, but the tall, slender player failed to beat the keeper despite going head-to-head.
When the match was seen to have ended in victory for TFC, Herold Goulon appeared destructive when he scored a 1-1 equalizer through Mahali Jasuli’s header in the 89th minute to make amends for failing to convert a penalty kick early in the game.
