Sabah FC back to good performance after beating Negeri Sembilan FC scoring 2-0 in the Liga Super Malaysia 2024/25 at Likas Stadium, Kota Kinabalu.
Daniel Ting opened the scoring for the home team in the 14th minute, making a sliding shot that found the back of the net after receiving a header from Telmo Castanheira.
Negeri Sembilan faced further challenges in the second half when they were reduced to 10 players after Norfiqrie Talib received a red card in the 65th minute for a dangerous tackle on Azhad Harraz Arman.
Jafri Firdaus Chew then doubled Sabah’s advantage with a penalty kick in the 81st minute following an incident where Zainal Abidin Jamil brought down Castanheira in the box.
