Perak FC came back to keep victory after beating Negeri Sembilan FC with a score of 1-0 in the Liga Super Malaysia 2023 at Tuanku Abdul Rahman Stadium, Paroi.
Previously, both teams showed a balanced performance when they exchanged attacks to hunt for the first goal.
However, the invulnerability of the respective teams’ defenses which succeeded in carrying out their duties well meant that not many appropriate attempts could be made by the attacking machinery, especially in the first half of the period.
Negeri Sembilan, which fielded three imported players, namely Herold Goulon, Casagrande and Hein Thet Aung, was only able to make a precise attempt in the 25th minute with a dead ball kick from a distance of approximately 25 meters by Thet Aung which was successfully pushed over by the visiting team’s goalkeeper, Muhammad Farhan. Abdul Majid.
Perak, however, didn’t wait long to get the best goal in the second half, when Luka Milunovic denied Luciano Guaycochea’s through ball to beat Negeri Sembilan goalkeeper, Sikh Izhan Sikh Azman, in the 50th minute.
Surprised by the fast net, K Devan made a three player swap by bringing in Sean Eugene Selvaraj, A Selvan and Che Rashid Che Halim and bringing out Mahali Jasuli, Casagrande and Filemon Anyie, to repackage the attacking machinery.
However, this effort was also ineffective in the mission to penetrate the Perak goal.
