Negeri Sembilan FC finally snapped their winless streak emphatically after thrashing PDRM FC 6-1 in the Liga Super Malaysia 2025/26 at Stadium MPS, Selayang.
The commanding victory marked Negeri Sembilan’s first win in seven matches, following a difficult run that saw them record four defeats and two draws across competitions, including the Liga Super Malaysia and Piala Malaysia. After the previous triumph came on January 25, when they edged Imigresen FC 1-0 in a Malaysia Cup fixture.
The Hobin Jang Hobin side started brightly, taking the lead as early as the fifth minute through national forward Luqman Hakim Shamsudin.
However, the visitors responded in the 22nd minute when Park Tae-soo struck to level the score for PDRM.
Negeri Sembilan quickly regained control before halftime. Japanese midfielder Takumi Sasaki restored the lead in the 38th minute, before Luqman grabbed his second of the night just two minutes later to hand the hosts a comfortable 3-1 advantage at the break.
The momentum continued early in the second half when Yuichi Hirano fired home the fourth goal in the 53rd minute, putting the result beyond doubt.
Sasaki then completed his brace in the 69th minute, extending Negeri Sembilan’s lead as the Hobin Jang Hobin faithful celebrated a long-awaited return to winning form.
The scoring was capped off in the 78th minute when Malaysian defender Khuzaimi Piee added the sixth goal to complete a resounding 6-1 victory.
