JDT’s two goals were contributed by import player, Bergson Da Silva, each in the first half of the match, while Terengganu’s goal was contributed by Kpah Sherman, also in the first half.
JDT continued to push the opponent as soon as the match started and managed to get the first goal in the 7th minute through Bergson Da Silva’s header which failed to be caught by Terengganu goalkeeper, Rahadiazli Rahalim.
Although the ball and the rhythm of the game were still controlled by JDT, but Terengganu managed to equalize in the 31st minute after Kpah Sherman managed to take advantage of the failure of Farizal Marlias to catch Manuel Gelito Ott’s attempt.
However, was not easily shaken by Terengganu’s equalizer when only two minutes later, Da Silva managed to finish Arif Aiman’s neat pass to make the score 2-1, back in favor of the hosts.
Terengganu had a chance to equalize again but Sherman’s shot in the 40th minute only shook the home side’s goal.
End of the match, JDT win with a score 2-1. win 4 matches consecutive and lead on 1st rank with 12 points.
