Johor Darul Ta’Zim continuing to earned 3 points after beating Imigresen FC scoring 3-0 in the Liga Super Malaysia 2025/26 at Stadium Negeri Pulau Pinang, Batu Kawan.
The hosts, Imigresen, fielded Zarif Irfan in goal with Fadzrul Danel spearheading the attack and Rizal Ghazali donning the captain’s armband.
Meanwhile, JDT named Syihan Hazmi between the posts, star winger Arif Aiman as their main attacking weapon, and Brazilian forward Joao Figueiredo leading the frontline.
JDT dominated the opening stages, pressing high and creating several dangerous chances, but a disciplined Imigresen backline kept the score level. Despite relentless waves of attack, the deadlock remained unbroken until the 43rd minute when Jon Irazabal broke through with a decisive strike to hand JDT a deserved 1-0 lead at the break.
The second half saw JDT tighten their grip on the match. Jairo Da Silva doubled the advantage in the 58th minute with a composed finish, before Joao Figueiredo added the third in the 77th minute, pouncing on a loose ball in front of goal to seal the result.
Imigresen made changes after the hour mark, bringing on Halim Saari and Joao Pedro to inject more firepower, but their efforts were thwarted by JDT’s well-organized defense and midfield dominance. The home side struggled to mount any meaningful threat as JDT controlled proceedings until the final whistle.
The 3-0 victory, courtesy of goals from Irazabal, Da Silva, and Figueiredo, not only secured all three points but also reinforced JDT’s status as early frontrunners.
