Park’s kick towards the edge of the JDT goal in the 19th minute managed to beat JDT goalkeeper Farizal Marlias while allowing Sabah to lead 1-0.
However, JDT did not let their guard down to counterattack towards the Sabah goal so they finally managed to equalize 1-1 in the 26th minute through Forestieri.
The action after that also saw JDT attack the Sabah goal more, but failed to add any goals so that the first half-time finisher was sounded.
