A goal from Debutant Endrick dos Santos and one of the stars, Arif Aiman, sealed the victory 3-0 over KL City in Kuala Lumpur Football Stadium, Cheras today.
An own goal from the KL City boys after the JDT’s team captain Jordi Amat pressured the KL City’s defenders. Jordi Amat then almost headed in another goal just before halftime.
The first half was instead on JDT’s side, as JDT possessed more possession than KL City. There were many chances and free kicks for KL City, but they did not convert them correctly.
KL City’s keeper Kevin Ray Mendoza was rather busy in today’s game, where JDT’s players kept testing him.
In about 60th minutes, The KL City boys had a very close chance inside the JDT box, but Juan Muniz was there and cleared it away.
Saifullah Ramadhan started a counterattack after the KL City boys lost the ball at the opponent’s half. Arif Aiman was in the run with Saifullah Ramadhan, and Arif Aiman scored inside the KL City box. 3-0, JDT leads to the 90th minute.
JDT will play Negeri Sembilan FC on 6 March in Tuanku Abdul Rahman Stadium.
