Football Federation of Cambodia (FFC) has parted ways with coach Keisuke Honda. After being in the position for more than 5 years after the game that lost to Thailand national team 1-3 in the AFF Mitsubishi Electric Cup 2022 Group stage, group A on January 2.
Honda has been the manager of the Cambodia national team since 2018 as a volunteer to take the position without pay. and receive only travel money And has worked with two head coaches, such as Felix Dalmas, Argentine coach, and Ryo Hirose, the current Japanese coach.
However, Honda still has one more important mission with the Cambodia national team. Including the men’s football in the SEA Games 2023 in May, at Cambodia which will be the last program before contract ends.
