Singapore Premier League side BG Tampines Rovers FC has officially announced the appointment of Katsuhito Kinoshi as the club’s new Head Coach as they continue their push in the Singapore Premier League 2025/26 season.
The Japanese tactician begins a new chapter in Singapore after previously serving as the head coach of Selangor FC, where he gained recognition for his structured tactical approach and commitment to attacking football.
In an official club statement, Tampines Rovers expressed excitement over the appointment, welcoming Kinoshi as the man to lead the team forward in the ongoing campaign.
Kinoshi arrives in Singapore with valuable experience across Asian football, including his stint with Selangor in Malaysia. During his time there, the Japanese coach emphasized tactical discipline, teamwork, and creative attacking play — qualities that are expected to shape Tampines Rovers’ style moving forward.
His regional experience could prove vital as the Stags seek to remain competitive in the Singapore Premier League and continue developing their squad.
With the league season still underway, Kinoshi’s immediate task will be to implement his philosophy quickly while guiding Tampines Rovers through the remainder of the campaign.
