Devan Kuppusamy, head coach of Negeri Sembilan FC admits Johor Darul Ta’Zim is clearly in a class after losing to them with a score of 0-7 in the Liga Super Malaysia 2023 last night.
“Maybe today our team is not in real form because we played three games in nine days.” K.Devan said.
“On the defensive side, we also saw that we made a lot of mistakes. Credit must go to the JDT team because their quality is quite different compared to our team. I think maybe we need to correct our mistakes and then focus on facing the next match,”
“I saw the turning point when we came in in the second half to change the game but they got a penalty and a third goal. Perhaps the spirit of the players who are in a state of fatigue. From there we might make mistakes on the defensive side.”
“I saw the JDT team playing so well tonight by not giving us any space at all. We can’t keep the ball and defend more. Their runs behind our defense, quick counterattacks are so good so JDT is in a different class compared to us.”
“There are still many more matches, maybe today is not our night. So, we need to focus and then in the next match we will give our best.”
