Johor Darul Ta’Zim, a club in Liga Super Malaysia has appointed Khairy Jamaluddin, ex-politician and Parliament member to be a director of the club.
The matter was announced by JDT in the latest post on the Johor Southern Tigers official social media page. The entire JDT family congratulates and welcomes Khairy on the appointment.
For information, Khairy Jamaluddin was also appointed as a Johor Youth Advisor. Based on Khairy’s extensive experience and advantages, the owner of JDT, Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim believes that KJ will add value to Johor.
“I have met Khairy Jamaluddin & agreed to appoint him as a Johor Youth Advisor & part of the JDT Board of Directors.” said TMJ on Twitter.
“His extensive experience in various fields in this country will provide added value to youth development & the progress of Johor football,”
Khairy Jamaluddin is a former member of UMNO party since 2000-2023 and former Minister of several ministries such as the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Ministry of Science-Technology and Innovation, and Ministry of Health.
