Urawa Red Diamonds have a more than better performance after beating FC Tokyo with a score of 3-0 in the J.League 2022 at Saitama Stadium, Saitama.
Urawa changed only two starting members from the previous section. Yoshio Koizumi came under the top in place of Takahiro Akimoto, who retired in the first half due to “muscular discomfort” (directed by Ricardo Rodríguez) in the previous section. In addition, Ayumu Ohata, who took a rest from the previous section, was the starting lineup for the first time in two games on the left SB. On the other hand, FC Tokyo selected almost the same members as in the previous section. The teenage duo of Kuryu Matsuki and Yuki Kajiura will continue to be in the midfield supported by Keigo Higashi.
However, when the match started, FC Tokyo’s lineup was a little different from the [4-1-2-3] forecast. Matsuki looks like a left side half instead of an inside midfielder, and the front line is Leandro and Diego, two tops of his Oliveira. Urawa was greeted by [4-4-2] with 20-year-old Kashif Bangnagande and 19-year-old Matsuki lined up on the left side.
However, it was Urawa who took the initiative in the match. He grabbed the ball from the entrance and did not allow FC Tokyo to counter, and played soccer with the opponents. It took a while to get the first shot, but Hiroki Sakai’s shot in the 10th minute and Atsuki Ito’s left foot in the 11th minute. The scenes of wavy attacks such as Tomoaki Okubo in the 16th minute and Yusuke Matsuo in the 17th minute were conspicuous.
FC Tokyo wants to push it back, but while being swallowed by the severe development, they give up the first goal from a mistake on their own. In the 31st minute, Matsuo, who aimed for Kajiura’s back pass, stole the ball and turned back from the deepest part of the goal line. David, who was stuffing free, his Moberg kick seemed a bit missed, but goalkeeper Jakub slipped through Swobik’s armpit and was sucked into the goal.
Urawa who took the lead still holds the ball, but FC Tokyo also carries the ball with the power of Leandro and goes on the offensive. In the 39th minute, Leandro won a free-kick and the kicker was Matsuki. When he swung his left foot, the ball that seemed to fly in front suddenly changed to the left of the goal. GK Shusaku Nishikawa, who was struck by the emptiness, could not react, but unfortunately the post hit directly did not equalize.
FC Tokyo changed players in half time. Kazuya Konno was introduced to the right wide instead of Kajiura, and the system was changed to [4-1-2-3]. Urawa does not allow it, although he tries to pull the flow of the game.
In the 50th minute, a left foot shot that pierced the ground of Ito stabbed to the right of the goal and made it 2-0. A few minutes later, Diego was taken by the grass that his Oliveira turned over and fell in a dangerous manner. I was forced to take turns injured, and the bad flow did not stop. In the 70th minute, Ataru Esaka → David Moberg → Esaka and the pitch was used extensively, and Okubo pushed in at the end to make the third point.
FC Tokyo also shot several times, but Nishikawa stopped because he couldn’t create a highly probable situation. He closed the match with his own J1 goalless record break, and won the first victory in three games with the content that can be said to be a complete victory.
