Iker Undabarrena, a defensive midfielder Spanish age,29 has joined Johor Darul Ta’Zim in the season 2024/25 after left from Leganes, a club in Spanish Laliga.
Undabarrena who has been playing in La Liga since 2022 with CD Leganes has been announced as the new pillar of JDT.
He has also helped CD Leganes to emerge as La Liga2 champions for the 2023/24 season and is eligible to play in La Liga this season.
Based on statistics from the Transfermarkt website, Iker has played almost 170 matches in La Liga2, scoring one goal and 7 assists.
His presence will give fierce competition to some pillars of midfield imports such as Juan Muniz, Heberty and local players such as Afiq Fazail and also Hong Wan.
