Masatada Ishii, head coach of Buriram United, has been released from the club for the move to work with Thailand national team as a Technical Director for the prepared team before participating in FIFA World Cup 2026 Asian Qualifiers Round 2 in November.
Today, Newin Chidchob, the President of Buriram United, released this during a press conference today with Nualphan Lamsam, President of Port FC and Manager of the Thailand national team, and Pawin Bhirombhakdi, President of BG Pathum United.
However, Buriram United will be responsible for all about costs and salaries of Ishii due to having a contract with the club. And Ishii will work together with Mano Pölking, head coach of Thailand national team.
