BG Pathum United made a surprise after beating Borussia Dortmund, a club from Bundesliga Germany scoring 4-0 in the friendly match ‘114 Celebration’ at BG Stadium, Pathum Thani.
The game kicked off with both teams on the attack. In the 14th minute, BG Pathum United took the lead when Teerasil Dangda made a brilliant pass to Melvin Lorenzen, who scored to make it 1-0.
Dortmund almost equalized in the 18th minute when Julian Brandt set up Karim Adeyemi, whose shot hit the post.
In the 41st minute, Dortmund had another chance to equalize through Julian Brandt, but his shot was saved by Saranon Anuin. BG Pathum United extended their lead in the 44th minute when Melvin Lorenzen’s cross was headed in by Teerasil Dangda, making it 2-0 at halftime.
In the second half, BG Pathum United made significant changes, leaving only Chinnapat Lee-a from the first half and bringing in players like Ranil Santana, Lars Feldweg, Freddy Alvarez, and others.
In the 65th minute, Lars Feldweg assisted Charoensak Wongkorn for a goal, pushing the lead to 3-0.
In the 88th minute, Freddy Alvarez set up Charoensak Wongkorn to score again, sealing a 4-0 victory for BG Pathum United over Borussia Dortmund.
