Goh Sze Fei-Nur Izzuddin Mohd Rumsani, Malaysian Men’s doubles pair emerged champions in Men’s Doubles event of the CLASH ROYALE Arctic Open 2024 at Vantaan Energia Areena, Vantaan.
Goh Sze Fei-Nur Izzuddin Rumsani made achievement after beating Denmark’s world No. 2 pair and defending champions Kim Astrup-Anders Skaarup Rasmussen in a thrilling final.
The Malaysians came back from a set down to win 15-21, 21-15, 21-19 in a nail-biting match that lasted over an hour at the Energia Arena in Vantaa, Finland on Sunday, Oct 13.
This victory marked their third final appearance of the year and their third title after winning the Japan Open in August and the China Open last month.
The win further strengthens Goh and Izzuddin’s standing, having now triumphed in two of their previous eight meetings against the Danish duo, with their last victory coming at the 2022 French Open.
