Malaysian Moto3 rider Hakim Danish Ramli delivered a determined performance at MotorLand Aragon on Sunday, finishing 12th in the Michelin Grand Prix of Aragon, Round 13 of the 2026 Moto3 World Championship.
The AEON Credit – MT Helmets – MSi rider started from Grid 13 after qualifying 13th in Q2 but fought through a demanding race to secure four valuable championship points.
Hakim crossed the finish line 14.284 seconds behind race winner Maximo Quiles, completing another important weekend of experience in his rookie Moto3 campaign.
When the lights went out, Hakim immediately found himself in a highly competitive midfield battle where every position demanded precision and consistency.
The Malaysian pushed his KTM to the limit throughout the race. His fastest lap came on Lap 6, when he recorded a 1:57.011.
Hakim also demonstrated impressive straight-line speed, reaching a blistering 246.3 km/h on Lap 9 — one of the strongest indicators of the pace he was able to produce around the long Aragón circuit.
Throughout the first half of the race, the 19-year-old maintained a consistent run of competitive 1:57-second laps, keeping himself firmly within the points-paying positions.
Hakim ultimately brought his KTM home in 12th place, securing four World Championship points.
The result takes his season tally to 90 points after 13 rounds, keeping him in eighth position in the Moto3 World Championship standings.
For Hakim, the points are particularly important after the disappointment of retiring from the British Grand Prix at Silverstone.
With 90 points from 13 races, Hakim remains firmly established inside the championship’s top 10 and continues to develop his racecraft with every round.
His return to the points at Aragón provides a positive response and another foundation to build upon as the season enters its later stages.
The race victory went to Spanish teenager Maximo Quiles of the CFMOTO Gaviota Aspar Team.
Quiles delivered a clinical performance to take the chequered flag in 33:15.478, securing victory on home soil.
The result also saw Quiles maintain his position at the top of the championship standings with an impressive 256 points.
His victory further strengthens his position as one of the leading contenders in the 2026 Moto3 title battle.
