Kim Pan Gon, Head coach of Malaysia national team has called up, Aliff Izwan Yuslan, a player in Malaysia U23 to join the Malaysia national team centralized training camp in preparation for the AFF Mitsubishi Electric Cup 2022.
The player got the nod from Pan Gon after training sessions between the national senior and U23 teams on 30 November and 1 December, followed by a training match on 2 December.
The player was also recommended by E. Elavarasan Head coach of Malaysia U23 and assistant head coach of Malaysia, upon the completion of the U23 squad’s 10-day training camp.
Aliff Izwan, 18, a forward of Selangor FC II will report to the Malaysia centralized training camp tomorrow, December 7, 2022. He will report together with Rahadiazli Rahalim a goalkeeper, from Terengganu FC who was already on the initial call-up list.
Meanwhile, Pan Gon had to drop Terengganu FC winger, Faiz Nasir, due to health reasons, after being unable to continue training with the Harimau Malaya squad after initially reporting on 29 November.
With this, the total numbers of players in the Malaysia centralized training camp are 28, including Dion Cools who will report on 16 December.
